What is a LDA?
LDA is an acronym for 'Legal Document Assistant'.
Many of us are experienced Paralegals who have served under skilled attorneys for many years. However, we are prohibited from referring to ourselves as Paralegals to the public and are instead known as Legal Document Assistants ("LDA's"). We must be bonded and insured and are prohibited from providing legal advice.
A Bit About Anita LDA
I am a Legal Document Assistant specializing in providing practical and cost effective Family Law related document preparation to self represented litigants. For more than 15 years I served as a Family Law Paralegal to skilled attorneys in the heart of the Silicon Valley. I am now offering my experience directly to my community as a Legal Document Assistant.
My services are also available to assist Family Law attorneys in meeting deadlines related to overflow Discovery, Discovery litigation and Disclosure projects ($100 per hour).
